  2. In class we dicuss if interracial couples should marry which lead into the dicussion of homosexual marriage. My whole thing about homosexual marriage is I feel it is not right. I believe that God did not intend for us to be homosexuals, because he made Adam and Eve. I appologize if I offend anyone but that is how I feel. The problem is how do you address it without offending anyone.

  4. I am a homosexual female and I cant honestly tell u how to address the situation but if u dont know how by saying i dont mean to offend anyone usually clears it up you r intitled to your own opinion jusat as i am to my own sexuality just because someone feels a certain way doesnt mean im going to stop being who i am.... and i also know that god loves me for who i am and maybe it is meant for me to be gay but its a sin just like any other....and god didnt intend for one to sin but people do it every day and thats why he gave his life for us on calvary......so thats my thoughts on that(this is precious)

  5. Hey this is Tiffany posting in and all comments are interesting. I have nieces and nephews that are bi-racial and I love them just as much as the rest of my nieces and nepews. As a maater of fact, I do not see racial differences when I look at them. One question that I have always wondered was why the whites felt like they had to oppress the blacks, ad even more so, why is that attitude still present?

  7. I felt like the comments in class and those that responded via blog was very interesting. As we grow older and some mature, society need to reexamine one's thoughts or actions. Whether its based on soul beleifs or just impulses, the race issue and sexuality struggles are all related. If someone taught their kids about what one's features should be, what thier prefrences in life should be like, who or what gender they should love, or what race is consider more superior. Alot of us in society compare everyday life along with the bible or one's personal religious belief. With that sadi if you have taught, nourished, and instilled those same thoughts in your child, that same child might pass those same beliefs down to thier children. So when we consider passing knowledge along to our seeds, just maybe we start to look at the big picture how society is starting to envolve. I really think maybe ours thoughts have been restructed and along with the restructing process we as the oppressed people should stop passing judgement and discrimminating against those who have chosen their own faith or destiny.

  8. Its a shame when you have to watch what you have to say so that you wouldn't offend anyone. Some people think that God made a mistake on them as far as gender and sexuality. In the bible it never says that same sex marriage is wrong. I think everyone should be happy. At the same time, getting married to the same sex just may be taking it a little to far. I've seen a book called "The Prince kissed the Prince", my first reaction was why are they doing this. I wouldn't want my son reading this in kindergarden. Then I thought gay authors may be promoting this to those children that have two fathers. So they can get a better understanding of what's really going on. Some homosexuals think its a easy way for acceptance when they say God made a mistake. It's Bull!!!

  9. During the discussion in class there were a lot of great points about homosexuality and being able to have same sex marriages. I feel like we should allow people to choose there our sexual preference. We should not judge someone for the way they feel about someone of the same sex.I think people in government should allow people to be happy. We talk about reproduction will decrease now. I think this will help our economic b/c we have enough people with more than one child and also the illegal immigrants increasing that continually enter our country that over populate the US.

  10. Hello everyone!! I have learned over the years that one can not control what another person feels, say, or think for that matter. However, the biggest problem that people have is learning to accept that person's decision in life. I speak on this because I am referring to homosexuality in which I do not disagree with. WHY?? Because no one really knows what that person has experienced in their childhood or past(whether it was rape, incest etc.) which has the tendency to have a major impact on their future(when seeking for a companion that will understand and love them for who they really are, which usually is a person of the same-sex). So, in short before one becomes so quick to judge at least try to understand or take into consideration what another individual may have been through in their life that led them to make the decisions in which they have made and is totally out of YOUR control!!

  11. During the class discussion, we talked about homosexual marriage. First I have no problem with with homosexualty, i sipport gay rights, but i'm against homosexualty. I feel that the homosexualty marriage is not in the eyes of God, and it should be leagalized because a man and a woman are put on thie earth to reproduce and not a man and man or a woman and woman. and if homosexual marriage will ever get legalized

  12. many people understand thing the way that best fit them so to give someone something that they are not willing to have do not work so if they really want to know the truth about something going to someone who is willing to walk you though it will help you though it. but just talking about it just to have something to say means nothing?

  13. I guess I am from old school. While I believe in the term, "Live and Let Live", personally speaking, I do not believe homosexually is a natural thing. I believe God made man and woman to procreate. Two men and/or two woman cannot procreate. In regards to the bible, every time homosexuality come up, it is frowned upon by God. He even distroyed a city "Sodom and Gomorrah" due to homosexual behavior.

I have people in my life who are homosexual,
and they are the sweetest people in the world and I love them dearly. While I don't agree with the lifestyle, I do not judge them for the choices they make.

Everyone is human, and entitled to happiness.

  14. Responding to Tiffany's post:

I always have wondered that also Tiffany.

Additionally, why is the "Acceptance" of homosexuality always equated with the "Acceptance" of being black in america and affirmative action?

I believe homosexuality is a "Choice" of lifestyle, while being Black is not a "Choice", but a Culture, that one cannot hide.
