  1. What I have notice, is that a lot of the class discuss in sociology ties a lot with what we're learning in the intro to social work course. So, It seeming to get conflicted with terms, and many of my thoughts running in my head trying to mange the two. I know its a lot of other students in class that have the same social work class with me, so just would like to know is that the case for you. I know both courses the mind set its all thinking outside the box to figure out ones issue. Let me know how you feel taking both classes at the same time? Is this a good decision or not?

  3. hello everyone this is Johnnie, class has been very interesting for the past three weeks. Although, It seems to me that some of the lectures are so intense that the verbal exchanges between the class becomes to drawn out! but I love the intensity. Keep it going guys, it gives me something to debate with on the following day with my co workers. following work day.

  4. Hello everyone! This A.Sunshine, quite lately we have been discussing respect!! Yet! I personally feel that Professor Greenfield is one of the most down-to-earth persons that one may ask to have while going through the process of seeking a higher level of education. I was just wondering is it that he is just that cool of a person that some of us(not all) have the tendency to take advantage of that? Or is it that "we"(not all) really do have a lack of respect not only for others, but ourselves as well (because remember we all represent ourself)? Just curious!!

  6. This is Erica Bishop, the class discussions very informative and I enjoy our class discussions. My major is social work so I became use to looking at the world from a social workers perspective, and now that i have to change my frame of mind because of this class I tend to look at the society in a much wider aspect. Dr.Greenfields style of teaching is different from any professor I have had in the past but it has helped me understand the class, and I prefer his teaching style.

  9. The concept of social construction stand out in my mind. Makes me rethink everything in my life. Things I was taught to believe that were considered "Right" or "Wrong", and the origin
of the ideas. I now look at everything differently, and I can see clearly how we are
"Programmed" to accept or reject certain things and or ideas.

  10. Comment on Johnnie's blog:

I enjoy the intensity of the class discussions and debates. I must admit, I didn't want to take a late class. Between Dr. Greenfield's interesting lectures and my classmate's lively discussions, I am glad to be in this class.

  12. I have learn in this class how do really know who is right or wrong? I learn to be a little more open-minded and judge a person base on the character or actions rather looking a silly things. At some point we all have judge one another rather realize it or not. I feel as though class you could be and express who you are individually.
